Highlights From 4 (ish) Days in Jerusalem

We arrived in Jerusalem and spent the first evening walking around the Old City. Narrow walkways and stone streets made us feel like we were living in the biblical past. After dinner we spent the night roaming Ben Yehuda street. It was Thursday night and everyone was out partying. Because of the high percentage of young people roaming the streets, it felt, in a strange way, as if I were at a city-wide Bar Mitzvah. Friday we visited the market, and were packed like sardines in the pre-Shabbat shopping frenzy. Friday night we visited the Western Wall and participated in joyfully welcoming in Shabbat. Saturday was a much much needed day of rest and Sunday was a somber and solemn day of visiting Yad Vashem and Mt. Herzl. Then we hit the road...

  3. Agreed. Dora at the wall is Halarious! There are so many great pictures. There are "ooooh" pictures. And "aahhhh" pictures. My favorite is the "awwww" picture. Which is the picture of my cute-faced-kid. Love you! Daddio
